Germs are passed on by air and by touch; the Steri-Center eliminates this form of transmission by engineering a virtually 'touch-free' and enclosed environment. The soiled and sterile storage areas are clearly defined by the red and blue light. In addition, there are hands-free, foot-activated mechanisms for soiled storage, and knee-opening access to disposable regulated waste containers. Instruments are cleaned without touching or aerosolizing patient debris using the Miele Dental Washer Disinfector. The Miele simultaneously cleans and disinfects contaminated instruments in large or small loads. The instruments are then completely eliminated of any remaining contaminants in the dry heat oven, which kills any germs via dry heat. Sterilization is as important to us as it is to you.

Many patients are concerned that dental unit waterlines (the small tubes that supply water spray to instruments used in dental offices) have been shown to collect "biofilm" - the primary source of contaminated water in dental offices.

At Dr. Narang & Associates we provide an isolated water system. This technology utilizes individual sterile water reservoirs for each treatment room to eliminate biofilm in our office. Our Aquastat Water Distiller makes this water daily in our office. You can have complete confidence in the steps we have taken to ensure your health and safety in our office environment.
