Fran Colley - Smile Consultant Fran came to us in 1993 as a bright-eyed, eager to learn dental assistant from George Brown College. She has since expanded her horizons as our records keeper for Orthodontics, PDA, Brite Smile Specialist and now she is one of our smile consultants. Thank goodness we didn't lose this Trinidadian-Chinese-Indian-Canadian beauty to the lucrative world of modelling...She has enough starry-eyed fans in our patient population anyways! We should also add her adoring husband, Ted; he thinks he's a comedian, and their very charming "little man" to her list of starry-eyed fans. Fran's soft energy and genuine spirit would captivate anyone. She truly believes in our quest to provide informative quality care and proves this daily in her thoughtful attitude and communication with the patients under her care. She is always willing to share her time and her vast knowledge with everyone.
Sandi Ferreira - P.D.A. Chairside Assistant In her 11th year, humming around the office, she's a busy bee keeping our cupboards stocked and us in order. If you are ever looking for Sandi, try under the mounds and mounds of paper and boxes on her desk. The word "NO" is not in her vocabulary, she's known for her willingness to offer her assistance when other are in need. A chef at heart, we feel she missed her calling as a food critic. When she's not on the soccer field with her talented son, keep your eyes open and you will find her scooting around all over town in her SUV...stay out of her way! She's our bubbly busy bee!
Cecilia Villanueva - P.D.A. Chairside Assistant Cecilia is our resident "MOM" at the office. If you need someone to take care of you, or, if you want to feel better about something, she is the one to go to. Married since 1965 to Frank, together they have raised 2 lovely daughters and 3 handsome sons. She anxiously awaits grandchildren. Born and raised in the Philippines, CeCe was a dentist for years before immigrating to Canada. Her hobbies include gardening and cooking. She is definitely our fountain of youth.
Asima Khokhar - P.D.A. Chairside Assistant Asima came to join our team in 2001, when Veronica went on her maternity leave and we liked her so much we decided to keep her! Asima flutters around the office so in love we wonder how she manages to keep the Doctors grounded and on time. When she's not spending time with her new and loving husband Kashif, she is either at the gym or in line waiting for coffee at her favorite stop...Tim Horton's. She's the youngin' around here.
Shazada Mohammed - P.D.A. Chairside Assistant Shazada or Shaz, as she likes to be called, is a Preventive Dental Assistant graduate of George Brown College. Her calm personality and diligent manner eases patients and assures 110% effort always. Although Shaz is a fairly new member of our growing team, she has synergized perfectly with her colleagues. She effortlessly offers her vast experiences to improve the over-all performance of the team. Shaz enjoys self-education to improve on her own skills as a P.D.A. She constantly challenges herself by taking courses in cosmetic dentistry and views many dental therapy instructional videos to familiarize herself with specific procedures and materials in the constantly changing world of dentistry. When Shaz is not busy at work she is planning her July 2003 wedding to her fiancé Safraz. This means a lot of shopping around, which she claims is her favourite hobby.
